Rockstar Games to introduce a new feature for Red Dead Redemption 2

We have reports that Rockstar Games is about to add a long-awaited feature in its Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. The feature that the Red Dead Redemption 2 will be receiving is by far the most anticipated feature that fans of the open-world western game have been asking for since its launch.

So finally Rockstar Game is introducing the new feature to the most popular game in the town and it sounds like it won’t be in time for the game’s PC release.

The feature is very much in the pipeline, according to Rockstar Games source Tez2, but it doesn’t look like it will be ready for the release of the PC on November 5. Rather, in December it will come alongside the Steam version of the game. Although Red Dead Redemption 2 will hit PC next week, as you may know, it will not hit Steam until December. It will be available at the Epic Games Store and Rockstar’s own PC launcher until it hits Steam.

Tez2, in order to share the information, took the concern to Twitter and in one of the tweets wrote:

@TezFunz2

“For people asking about the Rockstar Editor, it’s definitely planned. It appears Rockstar isn’t going to ship it with the PC version coming Tuesday, so it’s coming alongside Steam in December.#RDR2”

For those who don’t know: the Rockstar Editor gives players the ability to create, edit, and share videos in Grand Theft Auto V. It’s not just a popular feature, but it has produced some amazing fan-made content. There are camera filters, custom camera placement, and even built-in music in addition to advanced editing tools. For most players, the feature is not a game-changer, but it will go a long way for players who enjoy creating content in Red Dead Redemption 2.
