Housing invoice can display all
that sensible land use works

Re: “Sen. Scott Wiener makes adjustments to arguable housing invoice” (Mercurynews.com, Jan. 6):

SB 50 supplies California with the original alternative ramp up housing building whilst concurrently chopping greenhouse gasoline emissions by way of selling construction with reference to public transit.

Opposite to what anti-growth advocates say, this invoice would no longer permit for the demolition of any present rent-controlled housing inventory, nor wouldn’t it “bulldoze” present communities; it could merely permit belongings homeowners to up-zone their constructions.
